A comedian that needs no introduction really and Jesterlarf Comedy regulars will know that over the last 20 years Reg has appeared at the club many times but here’s some blurb you may or may not know about him…having reached the final of So You Think You Are Funny in 1998 he went on to be nominated an unprecedented three times for the Edinburgh Perrier Award. He’s made some brilliant BBC documentaries including ‘Songs of the South’ where Reg returned to his hometown of Georgia for a road trip across the deep South and the cradle of American music.
Reg is now of course a household named comedy superstar whose unique, brutally honest and controversial brand of comedy is unrivalled.

Esquires is one of the country’s finest and most respected small independent grassroots venues and for the last 30 years has promoted and showcased talented new acts including some of the biggest bands in the world such as Coldplay, Muse and Biffy Clyro. Not all music venues suit live comedy but Esquires fits like a glove and is a brilliant venue for intimate and vibrant live stand-up comedy.
Disability Access: Regrettably we are not currently a fully accessible venue. Our main stage is up one flight of stairs so some customers may have difficulty with this. Our ambition is to resolve this situation as soon as possible and we are currently investigating options. All promoters working at Esquires offer carer/companion tickets. This show is all seated.
PARKING
Greyfriars Car Park (postcode
MK40 1JD) is a 3-minute walk away and it’s totally free after 6 pm and all day Sunday. Alternatively, there are usually spaces on Greyfriars road outside (again, free after 6 pm).
Travelling by train:
Esquires are just a short 8-10 minute walk from Bedford Station and you can get a direct train from Luton, St Albans, London (St. Pancras International) and all points in between via First Capital Connect.
