Ian Stone: Keeping It Together
It takes a very talented comedian to do razor sharp and astute political satire without being yawn boring and preachy dull but Ian is one of the finest wordsmiths around – he’s been a top of the shop headline act on the circuit for over 20 years and this will be his third solo UK tour show and it’s great that he’s now getting the recognition and critical credits for his simply brilliant strand of stand-up comedy.
He’s an avid football fan and presents a great show on BT Sport called ‘The Football’s On’ and in 2020 he penned his first book called ‘To Be Someone’ which is a great read and is part autobiography, part social history and part love letter to Paul Weller and The Jam.
His new show is called Ian Stone is Keeping it Together. In spite of everything. What does it matter that he has all his own hair and teeth and keeps a tight control over his between meal snacking when the Tories are still in power, there’s war in the middle east and Donald Trump could be allowed back (back!!) into the White House? How can there be such terrible pain and suffering in the world even though Ian always rates his What’s App call, package delivery and parking experience? And what happens to all the pens he buys? These and other questions will get the answers they deserve.

Mark Simmons: More Jokes
Mark burst onto the comedy scene back in 2017 and reached the final of numerous comedy award competitions plus Dave TV’s Best Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe and in 2022 was voted Best UK Comic by his fellow comedians. He’s honed his craft and entertained audiences not only up and down the UK but also over in Australia and New Zealand and then Social Media kicked in and his jokes went viral and his debut UK tour Quip Off The Mark sold out every venue on the tour. He also does a great podcast show called ‘Jokes With Mark’ with his mate Danny Ward that’s well worth giving your ears a listen.
Join Mark as he takes a break from his current tour to try out new material for his new forthcoming show called ‘More Jokes’
