The Jesterlarf Comedy Club present a socially distanced Covid safe show at The Cambridge Junction. For obvious reasons the layout will be different to usual to adhere to safe social distancing but you can still sit next to your friends provided you’re from the same household or within the same social bubble in accordance to the current guidelines in operation at the time of the show. Due to a reduced capacity we have 2 shows that night 6pm and 9pm.

We have a fantastic line-up with our trademark top quality acts who are all chomping at the bit to get on stage and entertain you with a riot of much needed laughter!!

Joe-Lycett-cancelled

Joe Lycett: One of the best-loved performers in the UK, Joe is a stand-up star. He made his television debut on The Royal Variety Performance, in 2016 and has since become a TV regular, performing stand-up on ITV’s Sunday Night At The Palladium and BBC1’s Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, plus starring on panel shows such as Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, BBC2’s QI and ITV2’s Celebrity Juice.

Having gained an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination back in 2012 for his debut show Some Lycett Hot he’s gone on to perform sold out shows worldwide.

2019 saw Joe become the new host of BBC2’s The Great British Sewing Bee and Joe’s brand-new comedy consumer affairs show, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, air on Channel 4 to critical acclaim, before being confirmed for a second series.

Sindu Vee: In 2018 Sindhu took her eagerly-anticipated debut hour, Sandhog, to the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer and a subsequent sold out UK tour..
Sindhu’s appeared twice on BBC2’s Live At The Apollo, most recently as host, and has guested on Mock The Week, QI  and Have I Got News For You. In 2020, she also acted in the critically acclaimed Netflix shows Feel Good and Sex Education plus wrote and hosted her own series, Sindhustan and Things My Mother Never Told Me About Lockdown on Radio 4. She also co-hosts the Child Labour podcast with Stuart Goldsmith for Radio X.

Catherine Bohart: Comedian, writer and actor who began performing stand-up in 2015 and has enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks of UK and Irish comedy, becoming a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Women the very next year.
Catherine took her debut solo show, Immaculate, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 and received widespread acclaim.
Catherine’s appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order  and is a regular correspondent on BBC2’s The Mash Report. She also co-hosts her own weekly podcast “You’ll Do” with fellow comedian Sarah Keyworth. In addition, Catherine was named The Times Comedy Face To Watch for 2019 and featured on the BBC New Talent Hotlist for 2017.

If you or any of your household or bubble are showing symptoms of COVID-19 in the run up to an event, we ask that you DO NOT visit Cambridge Junction. Please instead contact us by emailing tickets@junction.co.uk and we will arrange a refund for the cost of your tickets.

We will be supporting NHS Test and Trace. Please note that by booking for a socially distanced event, you agree that your contact details may be shared with NHS Test and Trace if requested by NHS England. If you are not happy for us to share your contact details with NHS Test and Trace, please let us know directly.

Upon arrival and at your table you will have the opportunity to ‘check in’ using the NHS COVID-19 App. For more details about the NHS COVID 19 App click HERE. You are not required to use this service, however it can be used to help you remember where you have been if asked by NHS Test and Trace.

Booking

  • Do I have to book in advance?

We are not able to offer a physical box office service at socially-distanced performances so tickets must be booked in advance.

 

  • Can I pick my tickets up at Cambridge Junction?

We are not able to offer a ticket collection service at the moment. Instead, we will send your tickets to you as a PDF attached to an email.

  • I have only been sent one ticket but there are two or more people in my party?

For cabaret tables or 2-person seating areas, there is one ticket regardless of how many people are in your party. Please arrive and take your seats with your whole party together.

  • Will I get a refund if I am not able to attend the performance?

Yes, we will continue to offer all bookers the opportunity to request a full refund if the show is substantially changed, postponed or cancelled, or if you are no longer able to attend i.e. you or someone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms.

Before you arrive

  • When should I arrive?

Arrival times are staggered to avoid crowding in the foyer. You will be contacted by the Box Office with your arrival time ahead of the event.

  • What should I bring with me?

Please bring either a printed or digital copy of your tickets which we will have emailed. Please have these tickets to hand when you arrive. We ask that you also bring a face covering to wear inside the building unless you are eating or drinking in the auditorium. Children under 11 are not required to wear a face mask inside Cambridge Junction. The cloakroom will not be open so please do not bring non-essential items.

At Cambridge Junction

  • How will socially distanced events work at Cambridge Junction?

Cambridge Junction will be set up differently from usual to allow for socially distanced seating or marked standing areas. For seated events each table will be at least 2 metres apart with limited pairs of seats around the venue perimeter. For standing events there will be clearly marked areas on the floor, spaced at least 2 metres apart.

  • Which door should I use?

When you arrive head to the main J1 door. You will be met by a steward who will check your tickets, show you to the auditorium and allocated seats/standing area before a short safety briefing.

  • Do I have to wear a mask?

Please wear a face covering inside Cambridge Junction unless you are eating or drinking in the auditorium. Children under 11 are not required to wear a face mask inside Cambridge Junction.

  • Will toilet facilities be available?

Yes, the toilets will be open. A steward will advise you which ones to use when you arrive.

  • Will drinks be available?

Yes, you will be able to order refreshments to you seats/standing area using your mobile phone. A member of the team will take contactless payment and bring them to you. Please do not go to the bar.
