Due to the new lockdown unfortunately the show on Saturday 21st November can’t go ahead, so we have rescheduled the show for Sunday 6th December. We’ve got the same line-up of Mike Gunn, Mark Maier and Kevin McCarthy and the show and meal times remain the same (food served 5.30pm-7.00pm & show starts 8pm).
All tickets remain valid for the new date and customers that require a refund just need to email See Tickets and they will issue a refund within 48hrs.
Please note See Tickets refund the ticket price but do not refund any booking fee’s paid (as per T&C when booked)

The Jesterlarf Comedy Club present a socially distanced Covid safe show at The White Horse pub.
Customers will be allocated a table with seating for either 2, 4 or 6 people (maximum) and the show is undercover inside a stylish, comfortable and warm marquee, thus making it as safe as possible, whilst providing shelter from the typically inclement British weather!


Mike Gunn: Time Out award winner who’s an original comedic talent, distinguished by his trademark laconic and lugubrious dark humour, killer punch lines and masterful delivery. He’s regarded as one the country’s very best headline acts and has performed in all four corners of the globe. He appeared on the inaugural BBC show Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and was invited to support Lee Mack on his UK tour.

Mark Maier : Winner of a small transistor radio from Sparky Comic for neat handwriting…Mark is also a regular guest for the Comedy Store Players alongside Paul Merton & friends and has had numerous commissions from BBC Radio 4 including his critically acclaimed show ‘Object Lessons’.

Kevin McCarthy: Compere for the show is the playful, daft and indescribable Kevin McCarthy! A veteran of the comedy circuit and one of its finest – he’s also been Jools Holland’s warm-up act for his TV show ‘Later’ for the last 17 years!

Your safety and wellbeing are paramount for this event which has been designed to ensure strict social distancing at all times. We are working closely with The White Horse team to ensure we deliver an event that is safe for everyone, as well as enjoyable.

In keeping with government guidelines:

Tickets will be sold in tables of 2’s, 4’s or 6’s with audiences seated in socially distanced areas. Each area is at least 1m apart with a one-way system throughout the venue. Customers MUST wear facemasks upon arrival and if they need to visit the toilet and when they exit the venue at the end of the night – once sat at your table customers do not need to wear their facemasks. Please pay attention to the signposting and guidance from the venue staff and respect the Covid hygiene measures in place – if customers ignore and flaunt these measures it may put others at a health risk and jeopardise future events at the venue.

Ticket bookings can only be made online through our website, allowing us to contact you – if absolutely necessary – after the event.
We are committed to the Government’s Test & Trace initiative.

Bar and food service will be available from your table. Please note payment is via card only – no cash payments please.

All venue staff have received up-to-date training and been equipped with the necessary PPE. They are on hand to answer any questions you have and are committed to ensuring your time with us is safe and enjoyable.

Please note that this event is subject to ongoing license and government guidelines and approvals during these unprecedented times. In the event of cancellation due to Government regulations we will process a refund of the face value of the ticket and meal bundle, please note that the booking fee will not be refunded – we’re sorry about this but the on-line ticket provider See Tickets will have already done their admin work and paid their staff, however there is a refund insurance protection option available at the ticket checkout. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of the event date.

And finally, if you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has, please do not attend the event. Equally if you feel unwell at any point during your time with us, please alert a member of staff immediately.

There is some parking available at the pub – there is some very limited street parking but please do not park in residential streets nearby.
